Nissan has several cars in its portfolio that come with top of the line features. One such model that has created quite a buzz amongst the auto enthusiasts is the Nissan Kicks. Nissan kicks is a compact SUV with a robust body and trendy design. This car is made for those who are looking for an affordable SUV with great features and good performance.

Nissan kicks is based on the MO platform which you will find in the Renault Duster model. Its tall stance and curvy sides give it a macho like an appearance. The designers have also put in the black cladding, which has a positive role in enhancing its muscular image. The signature V-shaped chrome encrusted engine grill is flanked by beautifully crafted projector headlamps. Its bulging wheel arches, roof rails with floating design, beautifully crafted wheels and character lines completes its side profile. When you turn your attention to the backside of this beautifully designed car, you will find that it has a uniquely designed boomerang -shaped LED tail lamp cluster, a slanting windshield, a thick bumper, and chrome handle for the back door. All these features make Nissan kicks a beautiful looking SUV that projects an aggressive image on the road.

Nissan has tried to give the interior of this car a premium touch by using high-quality materials in its furnishing. Some of the elements that are used to give it an upmarket feel include, chocolate brown leather cladding on the beautifully designed dashboard, brushed silver accents in the instrument panel, leather covers for the seats and beautifully finished door pads. The seats of Nissan kicks are ergonomically designed that allows you a comfortable ride even over longer distance. While the interior of this car is superbly designed, we found some small flaws that can affect the overall impression of people who ride in this car. One of them is the glovebox that has a small opening, but it is quite deep which makes it harder to retrieve something from it easily. The other thing that we did not like was the use of plastics in some part of the dashboard, which ruins its look.

The Nissan kicks is available with a 1.5 L diesel engine with a six-speed manual transmission as well as five-speed manual transmission options. The engine performance is quite average and it produces a torque of 240 Nm. When you start the car, you will find the engine a bit noisy, which gradually smoothens up when you increase the speed. Driving this car, we found the sweet spot to be in the range of 2100 rpm-4000 rpm. In this range, the noise level is much muted and the power generated is awesome. Driving this car is very easy and you will not feel any strain while taking hard corners at high-speed.
