When you talk about exterior design elements of Mahindra TUV 300 then there is nothing much to get excited about. It is an under 4 m car that has a boxy design. The front profile includes a uniquely designed engine grill with vertical slats and a fine mesh, which gives it a muscular look. The engine hood is plain is plain looking which is not improves the overall impression in any great way. The side and the back profile of this car are not so great either. Although the designers have tried to utilize character lines and creases to give it a dynamic look, it did not have the desired results and this car looks plain and staid.

The interior of this car is very spacious and you will get adequate legroom and headspace for all the riders. The seats are placed in an elevated position, which gives the driver a commanding view in front of the car. However, the placement of the A-pillar and the spare wheel hanging on the back hinders your view, which will affect you when you are parking your car. However rectify the situation; the car comes with a parking sensor, which helps a great deal in parking this big car safely. The seats of this car are wide and comfortable, but they lack lumbar support, which affects the riding experience in this car severely. Overall, you will find the finishing of the passenger cabin of this car very good considering its price. The plastic used in the dashboard and door panel are of high quality and the chrome inserts give it an upmarket look.

The Mahindra TUV300 compact SUV is blessed with a 1.5 L diesel engine that gives a maximum power of 100 bhp that results in that crushing torque of 240 Nm. While this is not a huge amount of power, it is adequate for this car and you will be able to write in this car over any challenging road conditions. However, we found that taking sharp corners at high speed on this car be a bit hair-raising as it feels top heavy.
