Pros and Cons

There are several advantages of riding the Mahindra Thar SUV. Here are a few of them.

• It is an all-terrain vehicle; you can off-road it without hesitation. The approach angle of 44 degree helps it to climb challenging slopes, and the departure angle of 27 degree helps to reach the ground without causing any damage to the rear end. You can dominate any terrain with Mahindra Thar. • The body of the SUV is sturdy and reliable, and it has a proper ground clearance of 200 millimetres in the CRDe model. • Numerous aftermarkets parts are readily available in the market, which you can opt to make the SUV monstrous and a head turner. • The price range within INR 10 lakhs makes it a most sought after SUV in its class.

In spite of having many benefits, we cannot overlook the few cons of owning Mahindra Thar. Detailed below are some of them.

• The interiors of the vehicle are basic. There is enough scope of improvement in this sector. The absence of power windows and rear reading lamp makes it a primitive automobile. • Safety features like ABS and airbags are also missing in this SUV. • The AC could have been much better with rear AC vents and automatic climate control. • The infotainment unit even needs up gradation with touchscreen system.

Finally, we can say at under ten lakhs price range Mahindra Thar is an SUV worth buying if you consider the engine and sturdiness of the vehicle. However, it faces stiff competition from Force Motors Gurkha, Mahindra Scorpio, and Mahindra Bolero regarding interiors.
