Audi launched the RS7 Sportback in a bid to introduce a sleeker and stylish coupé-looking body style with the performance and capabilities of the Sports Wagon RS6. This car is based on the same platform as A7 Sportback so you get the promise of substantial performance along with all-weather tractability as a result of the improved traction from the advanced Audi’s Quattro system. There are two variants of the sedan- RS7 Sportback and the RS7 Sportback Performance. The “Performance’ trim is the top-end model having more luxurious features and high-performing engine.
In the RS7 Sportback, you can expect a powerful sports car body available in four-door coupe style design. The “Performance” trim weighs 15 per cent less than the standard variant owning to 20 per cent aluminium components in the body which makes it stiffer yet reduces the overall weight. It has one of the fastest acceleration and can zoom from 0 to 100 Kmph in just 3.7 seconds in the Performance variant. The standard model takes only 0.2 seconds more than this value. Currently, RS6 is available at INR 1.7 crore (Ex-Showroom Price, Inclusive GST) in India. It offers stiff competition to other premium cars including BMW M5 available at 1.6 crores and Porsche Panamera Sports Turismo Turbo available at INR 1.96 crore.
